Details

This protocol is for COPFS, SCTS, Police Scotland and VSS. It has been agreed in order to identify best practice and obtain consistency of approach to improve victims and witness engagement and support.

It covers the role of each organisation, the information exchange agreement, support arrangements for victims and witnesses, vulnerability of victims and witness and the impact this may have on them, and processes for working together to ensure safety of victims and witnesses throughout a case.
