Transgender accused policy

Guidance for prosecutors for dealing with cases in which the accused person is transgender.

It contains general guidance, details how prosecutors should deal with cases where it is alleged a transgender person has committed a sexual offence involving non-disclosure of their birth gender, and sets out factors to consider in deciding whether a criminal offence has been committed and whether to prosecute.
