Trade union facility time is the provision of paid or unpaid time off from an employee’s normal role to undertake trade union duties and activities as a trade union representative. The below tables show the resource commitment of COPFS staff for 2023-24. The figures are correct as at time of publication and are still subject to final audit sign off as part of usual annual processes, and therefore may be subject to change. Once final audit sign off has been completed, the trade union facility time will be included within COPFS publication of annual report and financial statement. This will be towards the end of 2024.
