This booklet from Victim Information Advice Service (VIA) is for witnesses who may need to provide all or some of their personal records to the defence during a criminal case.

This booklet answers questions about the defence having access to your records including, how they get access to your records, which records they might want to see, why they need to see the records, what to do if you do not want them to have access to your records, and how your records will be kept private.
