There are private parking facilities at this office. To request advice on parking for disabled drivers please contact our Office Manager.
Approach to main entrance
There is wide pavement access to the main entrance and a lift is situated within the entrance door. Assistance may be required to manage doors which open outwards.
Door width: approximately 85cm and the lift is situated just within the main foyer.
Approach to reception area
Reception is accessed by a double door and assistance may be required.
Door width: the entrance width for the double doors leading to the reception area opens to 160cm Low level counter
Low level bell: There is a low level bell to the right of the public counter.
There is seating available in our reception area. Please ask if you need extra assistance.
Approach to interview and conference rooms
Interview rooms are accessible from reception area through security doors. There is a further door to enter the interview room.

Emergency evacuation
Audible emergency alarms: Siren and audible address system with the message "this is a fire alarm, please evacuate the building"
Our staff have a responsibility to ensure that they accompany any visitors during an emergency evacuation to the muster point designated in local Fire Evacuation Plans. Visitors must not be left unattended and should be accompanied at all times during an emergency evacuation until the all clear is given for re-entry to the building. Where appropriate a suitable emergency evacuation plan will be in place to ensure safe evacuation of disabled persons during an emergency situation.

Where possible, our office uses colour definition to indicate changes in floor levels, doors, steps or stairs and emergency signs.

The dog's comfort is your responsibility but we will provide a bowl of water on request.

A Hearing Induction Loop System is installed in the reception area. A mobile Hearing Induction Loop is available for use in any of our interview rooms.

Our staff are issued with good-practice guidance and we will make efforts to provide adequate lighting in any interview space to suit your needs.
Access to Sign Language interpreter
If you need us to have an interpreter available, you must let us know as soon as possible, so that we have enough time to arrange this. Please contact our office manager.
Textphone users
You can access our services by calling through the RNID Typetalk service using the prefix 18001. There are no public textphones in this office.

The lift has illuminated floor level indicators.

Public toilets
There are no public toilet facilities in this office. The nearest public toilets are situated within the Sheriff Court building which is adjacent to the Procurator Fiscal's Office on St James Street, Paisley.
Wheelchair-accessible toilets
Please ask to use the unisex accessible toilets available in the staff secure areas on the first and second floors. A pull-cord is located in this toilet.
