Scott Mclean, from Perth, was found guilty of 11 charges on 31 October 2024 following a trial at the High Court in Stirling.
The 36-year-old targeted his victims at various locations in the Perthshire area.
He was just 17 when he began abusing the first victim in 2005.
Mclean was subsequently convicted of having unlawful sex with two girls, who were under the age of 16 at the time.
On various occasions, he took the two victims to secluded locations, including public parks, before abusing them.
He was found guilty of raping one of the girls and using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards both of them.
A woman was also abused by Mclean, who subjected her to multiple rapes over the course of several years, including while she was asleep.
He was convicted of sexually assaulting the same victim as well as threatening her while forcing her to take part in sexual activity during a Whatsapp video call without her consent.
On 12 February 2025, at the High Court in Stirling, Mclean was given a 14-year extended sentence with 10 years in custody.
His name has been added to the sex offenders register indefinitely.
Non-harassment orders, banning Mclean from contacting or attempting to contact the three victims, were also granted for an indefinite period.
Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offending, Katrina Parkes said:
“Scott Mclean poses a clear danger to women and young girls through his depraved sexual offending.
“It is thanks to the courage of those affected by his actions that this prosecution and conviction have been made possible.
“Mclean will now face the consequences of his actions, which I hope brings some comfort and sends a clear message that offending of this nature is not acceptable.
“I would urge anyone who has been affected by similar crimes to come forward and report it, regardless of how long ago the offences took place.
“You will be listened to and supported as we use all the tools available to us to seek justice.”
