Jakub Sojka was found guilty on July 31 following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
The 32-year-old met his 15-year-old victim in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, on March 1, 2021, before taking her to his home address.
Once inside, he demanded that she consume a powder substance, uttered threats of violence towards her family and hit her head against a door.
After detaining her against her will, he sexually assaulted her while she was intoxicated before raping her.
On August 27, at the High Court in Edinburgh, Sojka was sentenced to seven years imprisonment.
His name has been added to the sex offenders register indefinitely.
A 10-year non-harassment order, preventing Sojka from contacting or attempting to contact this victim, was also granted.
Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offending, Katrina Parkes said:
“Jakub Sojka carried out this appalling, opportunistic attack on a young girl who was vulnerable.
“He will now face the consequences of his predatory actions thanks to bravery of his victim in reporting him.
“This type of offending has no place in Scottish society. I urge any victims of similar offending to come forward, report it and seek support.
“You will be listened to and we will use all the tools available to us to pursue justice.”
